The University of Waterloo is committed to supporting students who have had their education impacted by conflict, war, changing political environments or natural disasters. Your gift to the Global Emergency Student Relief Fund will ensure these students find a safe, supportive place to continue their studies here at Waterloo. More specifically, your gift will help cover costs associated with hosting visiting undergraduate and graduate students who will be integrated across all Waterloo faculties. Their expenses may include tuition, academic activities (such as English as a Second Language courses), accommodation, meals and essential travel.
